Navigators are licensed by the state and are certified by the Federal government. They are available to help residents understand the many health care plan options from deductibles, coinsurance, copayments, out of pocket costs, benefits and prescription coverage, premiums and more.

Residents can sit down with an advisor for an hour and they are advised to bring last year's tax return with them. Other helpful information to bring is the social security number for family members who would be included in the health care plan.
After the meeting, individuals will take home some health care plans that meet their needs, look over the information further at home, and then return to the advisor to fill out applications.
