United Rheumatology Sets Sights On New Delivery And Payment Models To Ensure Patient Access To Treatment

Glaudemans brings to the role three decades of leadership experience spanning managed care, policy issues management, public affairs, communications, and health insurance, working for marquee companies including Aetna, Ascension Health, and Avalere Health (see also United Rheumatology).

"The growth and success of United Rheumatology in supporting the needs of community based rheumatologists from coast to coast requires a leader with a deep understanding of the landscape today, and the ability to anticipate needs into the future," said Dr. Max Hamburger, Founder and Executive Chairman of United Rheumatology. "Jon is uniquely suited through his experience and passion to help independent rheumatologists optimize and enhance their practice operations, and to develop patient-focused products and programs for payers to provide better care at lower cost for patients with rheumatologic diseases."

Before joining United Rheumatology, Glaudemans was Managing Director of Manatt Health. Prior to that position, Glaudemans served as Chief Advocacy and Communications Officer at Ascension Health, Inc. Glaudemans has also previously served as the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Avalere Health LLC, Managing Director of Public Strategies, Inc., and Transition Coordinator to the then-incoming Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Earlier, Glaudemans was in charge of one of Aetna's largest markets, managing sales, service, network, and utilization management for a 1,500,000 member health plan. In addition, Glaudemans played an advisory and Board role with CareCore National, a leading specialty benefits management company.
