UFG Insurance introduces ArtisanPro® for artisan contractors
In addition, ArtisanPro can be tailored to provide a variety of optional coverages commonly needed in the contracting industry, including contractors installation, tools and equipment, contractors errors and omissions and increased liability limits.
According to
"With ArtisanPro, we're delivering competitive coverage for contractors and simplified quoting for our UFG agents, ensuring quick pricing, binding and issuing," said Harpole.
While the quoting process is simplified, ArtisanPro can also be easily tailored and packaged with other coverages for contractors, such as commercial auto and workers compensation. An additional five levels of liability protection (including a broad selection of additional insured options) can be added via a liability endorsement, while a businessowners property endorsement offers three levels of property protection.
ArtisanPro is the latest product in UFG's "ProSeries" of products designed specifically for trade professionals. The company developed PremierPro® and GaragePro® to meet the specific insurance needs of business owners, and to offer agents expedited quoting.
Like ArtisanPro, both the PremierPro and GaragePro programs combine broad property, liability and crime protection with optional coverage enhancements. A quick and easy online quoting experience simplifies the process for UFG's independent agents, and can provide coverage for insureds usually within minutes on web quotes with no underwriter referrals, and same day on most other web submissions.
PremierPro is designed to serve a range of small main street-type businesses, with optional enhancements available to cover such issues as equipment breakdown, employee dishonesty and water backup/sump overflow.
GaragePro is tailored to serve auto repair, body shops, transmission repair, muffler services and other garage-oriented operations, and offers several coverage enhancements, such as personal and advertising injury, employee tools and forgery and alteration.
All of the ProSeries products are available only through UFG independent agents, and are not available in all states. Insureds must meet eligibility requirements outlined for their particular region. For more information, small contractors and business owners are encouraged to contact an agent in their area: Find a UFG Agent.
