Two law firms to join forces to create Sowerby & Moustakis Law PLLC

Dec. 23--AMHERST -- Moustakis Law LLC and Sowerby Law Office PLLC will merge effective Jan. 1.
The new company will be called Sowerby & Moustakis Law PLLC, a law firm focused on estate planning, elder and family law, small business and probate.
Sowerby & Moustakis Law will be located in the offices occupied by Dwight Sowerby, at 282 State Route 101, Unit 4, Liberty Park, Amherst.
Sowerby & Moustakis Law also has an office at 30 Eastbrook Road in Dedham, Mass.
Sowerby has practiced in Amherst for the last five years and in Milford before that.
Peter A. Moustakis, who lives in Amherst, is a member of the New Hampshire Bar and has been a member of the Amherst Ways and Means Committee for four years, serving as chairman the last two years.
He has maintained a legal practice in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts for years, according to a news release.
The firm does estate planning, business formation, small business counseling, pet and equine law, wills and living trusts, special needs trusts, health care proxies, powers of attorney, Medicaid planning and municipal law.
