Tutera Senior Living & Health Care Promotes Ryan Fischer to Vice President of Business Development

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care, one of the nation's premier providers of diversified, post-acute senior health care services, announced the promotion of Ryan Fischer to Vice President of Business Development. In his new role, Fischer will continue to oversee managed care contracts and systems, as well as be involved in reimbursement model changes oversight, corporate compliance, government relations, staff recruitment and development and care navigation and integration.

Previously, Fischer served as Tutera's Director of Managed Care and Business Development, where he helped the company achieve significant success increasing the number of contracts awarded and putting in place systems to enhance the company's managed care process. In addition, Fischer worked with insurance companies in 13 states to help ensure the highest quality of care for residents in the 47 facilities currently operated by Tutera.

An 18-year veteran of the healthcare and senior living industries, Fischer has been with Tutera for seven years. Fischer received a Master's Degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Truman Medical Centers Charitable Foundation, as the Chair of the Saint Luke's Continuing Care Network Skilled Nursing Facility Payor Relations Committee, and on the Leawood Chamber of Commerce, as Government Relations liaison. He also serves as a council member for Alive & Well KC, a member of the March of Dimes Nurse of the Year Committee, and an advisory board member for Research Medical Center. Previously, Fischer served on the event planning committee for the St. Luke's Health System Foundation.
