Traffic stop leads to drug arrest

Daily Reflector, The (Greenville, NC)

On Sept. 4, the Williamston Police Department conducted a traffic stop at West Main St. near Washington St. which led to them reportedly drugs and drug paraphernalia.

That led to Jonathan Emanuel Williams being charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver schedule II controlled substance, possession of up to half ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Martin County Sheriff's Office reports of incidents include:

Aug. 28

Warrant service was reported at Martin County Sheriff's Office in Williamston.

Motor vehicle theft was reported at Bear Grass Rd. in Williamston.

Larceny of a firearm and larceny was reported at Speedway in Oak City.

Financial transaction card fraud 8267 NC-125 in Oak City.

Aug. 29

Damage to personal property was reported at 5157 Prison Camp Rd. in Williamston.

Breaking and entering motor vehicle and larceny of fuel 4441 Prison Camp Rd. in Williamston.

Assault on a female was reported 7918 Prison Camp Rd. Robersonville.

Aug. 30

Assault on a government official and resist, delay and obstruct was reported at 1077 Goose Rd. in Robersonville.

Aug. 31

Dispute was reported at 9020 NC 125 in Oak City.

Assault was reported at 2055 Jerden Thicket Rd. Lot 3 in Jamesville.

Sept. 01

Destruction/damage/vandalism of property was reported at 3309 Wynn Rd. in Williamston.

Larceny of meter was reported at 27111 NC 903 in Robersonville.

Destruction/damage/vandalism of property was reported at Duck Thru in Hamilton.

Eric Lamont Green was charged with simple assault, resist, delay and obstruct and communicating threats.

Jasper Swain was charged with warrant service other jurisdiction insurance fraud and warrant service other jurisdiction obtaining property by false pretense.

Aaron Malik Little was charged with failure to appear.

Timmy Maurice Edwards was charged with assault on a female.

Aug. 29

Rodney Louis Shrader, Jr. was charged with breaking and entering motor vehicle and larceny of fuel.

Aug. 30

Phillip Cratt was charged with assault on a female.

Derek Stevenson Baggett was charged with assault on a government official and resist, delay and obstruct.
