1975
Members of the 1975 Winter Wonderland Ball Court at Columbus High School were Tammy Dartt, Mary Miller, Debbie Voss, Mary Tobison, Colleen Powers, Pat Daley, Joel Wolfgram, Pat Hickey, Jim Hein, and Phil Jaeger.
Ron and Marcella Steindel were made employees of the city of Columbus and would be covered by city liability insurance coverage. The Steindel's answer calls after 5 p.m. for fire, police, water and light department and the Rural Electric Coop.
1985
Bret Lee Bostwick was the first baby born at Columbus Community Hospital in 1985. His parents were Dennis and Elaine Bostwick.
Fall River workers were completing the move from the old Fall River Village Hall to the new municipal building.
1995
Duff Bros. is a family business located east of Columbus on Highway 16 and 60 at the city limits. The company was founded in 1925 by brothers Tom and Joe Duffy. The company began by hauling livestock to Milwaukee and milk to an area plant. John Duffy, Tom's son, handles livestock transportation, while Patrick Duffy, John's son manages the grain elevators. The company has 20 semi-trucks and 25 trailers.
