The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company and CEO Eileen McDonnell Honored with 2017 EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award

McDonnell and the company took top honors in the "Transformational" category, and was recognized along with other regional leaders across varying categories.

The EY Entrepreneur of the Year regional award is an annual accolade that distinguishes exceptional leaders across industries such as financial services, technology, retail and consumer products, and more.

McDonnell, and the additional class of 2017 winners, were revealed during a gala held on June 7 at the Kimmel Center for Performing Arts in Philadelphia, PA. McDonnell was selected by a panel of judges comprised of former winners, regional business leaders and CEOs of companies with a national presence.

All regional winners will also be eligible for EY's Entrepreneur of the Year National program, which will be announced in November.
