DALLAS, Texas, July 8 -- The International Risk Management Institute issued the following news release:
International Risk Management Institute, Inc. (IRMI) has reopened registration for the 2020 IRMI Energy Risk & Insurance Conference (ERIC), which will now be presented as a virtual event, held online September 23-24. Attendees will have access to 2 days of livestreamed sessions focused exclusively on the unique risk management challenges faced by energy companies as well as the nuances of properly insuring their loss exposures.
"The health and safety of our attendees are our top priority," said IRMI President and CEO Jack P. Gibson. "Holding ERIC as a virtual event will allow more risk managers and insurance professionals to attend without having to navigate the continuing uncertainty around COVID-19."
The virtual format provides attendees with additional benefits such as on-demand access to session recordings for 6 months following the Conference and 4 additional energy risk and insurance webinars that will be presented throughout the year.
Online sessions will cover topics such as energy and the economy, contractual indemnity provisions, and emerging risks. Eligible energy company employees and contractors can also attend the invitation-only Risk Managers Forum, which provides a setting for open discussion of current challenges and concerns.
