Synapse Services Appoints A New Vice President

Tom brings more than 23 years of industry experience to Synapse, most recently serving as an Executive Vice President and Division Head with AIG. His responsibilities included the oversight of new business production, renewal retention, and underwriting discipline across 15 regional underwriting offices focusing on environmental casualty, excess, and automobile. He was responsible for the overall P&L and driving the long-term growth strategies of the entire division. Additionally, Tom developed and managed relationships with several environmental trade associations for AIG, including chemical distributors and chemical manufacturers.
Tom previously held various management and underwriting position within AIG's corporate and national accounts segments, where he underwrote insurance placements on a wide range of environmental and casualty risks.
