Sovereign Health Announces a New Article in ‘The Hill’ Discussing Changes That President-elect Donald Trump Could Make to ObamaCare

As this editorial notes, ObamaCare prevented insurance companies from denying coverage for people with pre-existing conditions. Those with chronic illnesses did not have to worry about their coverage running out after a certain length of time. The act also allowed young adults to stay on their parents' coverage until age 26. By 2015, 16.4 million previously uninsured people had gained coverage.
Most Americans do want to see some changes made to ObamaCare, according to a recent Kaiser Health Tracking Poll. Only 19 percent of respondents wanted to continue to implement the plan as is and 30 percent wanted to expand it. Forty-three percent wanted to scale it back or repeal it altogether. Moving forward, options seem limited.
