Sherman Abrams Labs Completes Implementation of LabOS

PR Newswire

RIDGEFIELD PARK, New Jersey, March 5, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Netlims, a global leader in laboratory information systems (LIS), announced that it has completed the implementation of its flagship LabOS product for Sherman Abrams Labs, a growing Brooklyn-based client focused laboratory. Sherman has chosen the full LabOS suite across Laboratory Medicine including Clinical Pathology, Anatomic Pathology, Genetics Testing, Client Service, Patient Care, and Phlebotomy. They will also use LabOS's mobile applications LabMD and Labway for remote monitoring of patients and managing samples on the move. This cloud based implementation is a critical part of Sherman's planned growth and their "Innovation driven by Quality" mantra.

Netlims' LabOS is a highly robust end-to-end web and cloud based LIS platform; it provides an open API enabling integration with new systems and devices. All LabOS modules operate through a single database, using standard components and monitoring tools to support unlimited workloads with no single point of failure. Sherman Labs has chosen the full suite of LabOS modules, including mobile apps, to support their focus on doctors, and providing outstanding patient care. LabOS is fully customizable and is designed for personalized healthcare.

LabOS for cloud requires no down payment, or licensing costs. With Netlims securing and fully maintaining LabOS from installation to backup and recovery, Sherman will benefit from a plug-and-play robust solution.

"LabOS is the most powerful tool on the market, it is the equivalent of combining two to four systems - you can search the market but you will not find another product that offers the full gamut of LIS services in a single suite," said Josh Reifer, COO, Sherman Abrams Labs. "Having used Netlims software for 18 years with Shiel, and seeing our labs grow tenfold with their LIS, I wouldn't take the risk with any other vendor when tasked with equipping our new labs - there is honestly no better product on the market."

"We are proud to be relied upon as the backbone for stable growth, our customers' loyalty to Netlims is testament to our unwavering emphasis on customer support and our leading LIS product," said Zvika Zisser, CEO, Netlims. "We look forward to developing our relationship with Sherman by bringing them the latest innovations through our cloud offering."
