The following persons were arrested by the Jackson County Sheriff's Office between Sept. 25 and Oct. 1

Matthew James Brown, 40, Whittier, failure to appear – reckless driving, driving while impaired, fail to maintain lane control.

Dennis James Cope, 52, Sylva, no liability insurance, driving while license revoked.

Faustino Hernandez, 35, Dillsboro, domestic violence protective order violation.

Drew Garrett Hoyle, 24, Sylva, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine.

Brittany Lynn Jones, 26, Franklin, possession of Schedule IV controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance in prison/jail, possession of Schedule II controlled substance.

Shaundell Nicole Locust, 26, Cherokee, FTA – possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine.

Shelly Kaylene Lowery, 29, Bryson City, FTA – larceny.

Casey Leanna Mark, 36, Whittier, FTA – driving while impaired.

Andres Marquez Moctezuma, 49, Sylva, driving while license revoked, carrying concealed weapon, child abuse, assault on a female.

Lane Robert Moody, 22, Sylva, DVPO violation.

Samantha Nicole Namotka, 25, Sylva, injury to personal property.

Jessica Ann Normand, 43, Sylva, conspiracy, possession of stolen goods/property, larceny.

Jeffery Alvin Polson, 49, Sylva, simple assault.

Daniel Ray Rice, 48, Cherokee, FTA – second-degree trespass.

Austin Tyler Rice, 24, Cullowhee, conspiracy, possession of stolen goods/property, larceny.

Timothy Neil Rushing, 46, Cullowhee, FTA – possession of deer taken in closed season, FTA – take game during closed season.

Dominic Emilio Salvatori, 33, Franklin, carrying concealed weapon.

Tiffany Rianne Taylor, 30, Cherokee, simple assault.

Jordan Nicole Toineeta, 29, Cherokee, FTA – driving while license revoked.

Luis Alejandro Velasco Cruz, 27, Sylva, no operator's license, open container alcohol violation, driving while impaired.
