Sen. Lee Introduces Bill on Flood Insurance Subsidies

WASHINGTON, Sept. 25 -- Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, has introduced legislation (S. 2832) to "prohibit the National Flood Insurance Program from providing flood insurance subsidies for single-family residences that are valued at more than $1,000,000."
The bill was introduced on Sept. 23 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla. It was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
