WASHINGTON, Sept. 25 -- Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, has introduced legislation (S. 2833) to "amend the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 to address the premium rates for certain properties under the National Flood Insurance Program."
The bill was introduced on Sept. 23 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla. It was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
