Sen. Kennedy Introduces National Flood Insurance Program Extension Act

WASHINGTON, Sept. 15 -- Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., has introduced the National Flood Insurance Program Extension Act (S. 2724) "to reauthorize the National Flood Insurance Program."
The bill was introduced on Sept. 13 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Robert Menendez, D-N.J., Bill Cassidy, R-La., and Cindy Hyde-Smith, R-Miss. It was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
