Sen. Booker Introduces Bill to Prohibit Use of Income Proxies to Determine Insurance Rates, Eligibility

WASHINGTON, Oct. 1 -- Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., has introduced legislation (S. 4755) to "prohibit private passenger automobile insurers from using certain income proxies to determine insurance rates and eligibility."

The bill was introduced on Sept. 29. It was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
