RSA Global Consulting Appoints Leadership Duo

LONDON, Feb. 6 -- RSA Insurance Group issued the following news release:

Commercial insurer RSA has appointed Neil Strickland as director of Global Consulting, which provides risk management solutions to customers within RSA's Global Risk Solutions and Commercial Risk Solutions businesses.

Martin Turner has also been promoted to deputy director, Global Consulting.

In his new role, Neil is responsible for leading and developing the Global Consulting business. He is based in London and reports to Hayley Robinson, managing director, Global Risk Solutions.

Neil brings 30 years of insurance experience to RSA and joins from Zurich Insurance in London where he spent 13 years in senior global customer and account management roles. Most recently, he was responsible for leading Zurich's customer relationship management proposition for large corporate customers in the UK, spanning products and services across general insurance and life & pensions.

Before joining Zurich, Neil held underwriting and relationship management positions within AIG Europe (UK) in London. He began his career as a trainee at Royal Global before moving into underwriting.

Martin Turner, previously risk managed operations manager, Global Consulting, will broaden his responsibilities and work alongside Neil to take Global Consulting forward. He continues to lead a team of experienced risk engineering professionals delivering bespoke risk management solutions to RSA's multinational and risk managed customers.

Martin is a chartered engineer with more than 20 years' risk management experience working at RSA and in independent consultancy. He started his career in risk management at Sun Alliance and remained there (latterly known as RSA) until 2002 when he joined risk engineering consultancy Elciem. Following RSA's acquisition of Elciem in 2013, Martin managed the integration of Elciem's risk engineering database system into Global Consulting, creating the award-winning RSAred.
