Democrat Robin Peguero is gaining financially on Republican U.S. Rep. María Elvira Salazar, whom he hopes to unseat next year in Florida’s 27th Congressional District. During the third quarter — his first quarter running — Peguero, a former federal prosecutor, stacked more than $330,000.
