RightCapital Partners With Commonwealth Financial Network On Financial Planning Solutions
RightCapital, a next-generation financial planning tool that provides advisors with the ability to create custom, comprehensive financial plans today announced its partnership with Commonwealth Financial Network, the nation's largest privately held Registered Investment Adviser–independent broker/dealer.
Through this partnership, Commonwealth selected RightCapital as its enterprise planning solution – expanding RightCapital's reach to a distinguished network of advisors.
RightCapital is working to provide a tight integration between its system and Commonwealth's flagship system, Client360°®. The integration will allow for seamless dataflow between the two systems and will enable Commonwealth advisors to create financial plans more efficiently by providing access to RightCapital's user-friendly interface and interactive planning features – including tax-efficient retirement income withdrawal strategies, with Roth IRA conversions, and a unique Medicare module.
"At RightCapital, we're committed to reinforcing efficient financial planning solutions for the industry – helping advisors create effortless, yet cogent, financial plans," said Shuang Chen, founder, and CEO of RightCapital. "By partnering with Commonwealth, we have the opportunity to help their affiliated advisors with financial planning decisions and expand the reach of our services altogether."
The partnership will give Commonwealth access to RightCapital's new Financial Planning API, which will allow Commonwealth to leverage the power of RightCapital's engine directly into Client360°. The widget will provide a transition into light planning for those Commonwealth advisors who are interested but not currently providing planning services.
"For the past decade, Commonwealth has integrated goal tracking right into Client360°, straddling the line between basic calculators and comprehensive financial planning software," said Darren Tedesco, Managing Principal of Innovation and Strategy at Commonwealth. "Our partnership with RightCapital will allow us to contract out the planning engine while maintain our unified interface, which will allow the simpler output from Client360° to be aligned with the more comprehensive output of RightCapital."
The partnership was officially announced at Commonwealth's National Conference in Austin, Texas, on November 9, 2018. The announcement follows RightCapital's recent strategic partnership with Betterment for Advisors and the launch of the RightCapital App – a white-labeled, native mobile app that connects clients with their advisors so that they can coordinate in real time on financial planning needs, anytime, anywhere.
