Residents express displeasure with health care plan at Walden town hall

Walden asked the audience at one point how many would like to have a single-payer health system. Roughly 90 percent of the people in the audience of about 200 people raised their hands.
Those in the audience who support a single-payer system included
Walden said that a number countries with single-payer health systems are struggling to keep them afloat, and, in some cases, are providing incentives for those insured by the government to get their insurance through the private sector.
"They can't sustain it with their tax systems," Walden said.
