REPUBLICANS DID THAT: Millions of Americans Drop ACA Coverage After GOP Allowed Tax Credits to Expire

New analysis estimates a 20% drop in Obamacare coverage due to Republican failure
Millions of Americans struggling to make ends meet are dropping health insurance coverage after Republicans in Congress and Donald Trump refused to extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits.
Initial sign-ups had dropped by 1.2 million people at the beginning of the year. Industry experts now project nearly 5 million people are at risk of losing coverage due to spiking premium costs.
Despite being in the minority, House Democrats are leading the way on lowering the high cost of living, successfully passing a bill on the House floor to extend the ACA tax credits, but DC Republicans in Congress continue to refuse to act.
When voters are asked to rank the number one concern related to cost of living, access to health care ranks #1, according to Gallup. Nevertheless, Republicans in Congress have taken a blowtorch to the American health care system by gutting Medicaid to fund tax breaks for billionaires. Hospitals, nursing homes and community-based health clinics are closing as a result.
DCCC Spokesperson Justin Chermol :
"House Republicans are to blame for rising health care costs, the millions of Americans who no longer have health care, and the destruction of the health care system as we know it."
