Rep. Velazquez Introduces Bill on Credit Against Tax for Flood Insurance Expenses

WASHINGTON, April 19 -- Rep. Nydia M. Velazquez, D-N.Y., has introduced legislation (H.R. 5543) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to allow for a credit against tax for certain flood insurance expenses."
The bill was introduced on April 17 It was referred to the House Ways and Means Committee.
