Rep. Russell Introduces Bill to Amend Federal Crop Insurance Act

WASHINGTON, May 27 -- Rep. Steve Russell, R-Okla., has introduced legislation (H.R. 2730) to amend the Federal Crop Insurance Act "to eliminate premium subsidies for crop insurance for tobacco."
The bill was introduced on May 25. It was referred to the House Agriculture Committee.
