The following information was released by the Nebraska Unicameral Legislature:
Nebraska Medicaid managed care organizations could cover out-of-pocket expenses for Medicaid enrollees under a bill passed by lawmakers April 10.
LB929, sponsored by Omaha Sen. John Fredrickson, allows Medicaid managed care organizations to cover deductibles, co-insurance, copayments or similar cost-sharing charges on behalf of Medicaid enrollees to the extent allowed under federal law.
