Rep. Ruiz Introduces Bill on Definition of Individual Health Insurance Coverage

WASHINGTON, July 26 -- Rep. Raul Ruiz, D-Calif., has introduced legislation (H.R. 6479) to amend title XXVII of the Public Health Service Act "to include short-term limited duration plans in the definition of individual health insurance coverage."
The bill was introduced on July 24. It was referred to the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
