WASHINGTON, Nov. 4 -- Rep. Richard Hudson, R-N.C., has introduced legislation (H.R. 4225) to amend the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act "by clarifying that State Exchanges are prohibited from imposing fees or assessments on issuers of excepted benefits and standalone dental plans not sold through an Exchange."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 2. It was referred to the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
