Rep. Graves Introduces Bill on National Flood Insurance Program

WASHINGTON, April 4 -- Rep. Garret Graves, R-La., has introduced legislation (H.R. 7364) to "permit policyholders under the National Flood Insurance Program to elect to have previous premium rates remain in effect until the Administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency satisfies certain conditions."
The bill was introduced on April 1 and was co-sponsored by Reps. Bill Pascrell Jr., D-N.J., Randy Weber, R-Texas, Troy Carter, D-La., Frank Pallone Jr., D-N.J., and David Rouzer, R-N.C. It was referred to the House Financial Services Committee.
