WASHINGTON, March 20 -- Rep. Peter A. DeFazio, D-Ore., has introduced legislation (H.R. 201) to amend the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act "to establish a public health insurance option."
The bill was introduced on March 18. It was referred to the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
