Rep. Davis Introduces Bill on Social Security Disability Insurance Payments

WASHINGTON, May 1 -- Rep. Rodney Davis, R-Ill., has introduced legislation (H.R. 2237) to "provide for phased-in payment of Social Security Disability Insurance payments during the waiting period for individuals with a terminal illness."
The bill was introduced on April 28 and was co-sponsored by Rep. Ron Kind, D-Wis. It was referred to the House Ways and Means Committee.
