Rep. Chabot Introduces Bill on Distributions From Governmental Plans for Health, Long-Term Care Insurance

WASHINGTON, April 4 -- Rep. Steve Chabot, R-Ohio, has introduced legislation (H.R. 6436) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to repeal the direct payment requirement on the exclusion from gross income of distributions from governmental plans for health and long-term care insurance."
The bill was introduced on April 3 and was co-sponsored by Rep. Kendra Horn, D-Okla. It was referred to the House Ways and Means Committee.
