Rep. Burgess Introduces Bill to Increase Dollar Limitation on Life Insurance

WASHINGTON, Feb. 15 -- Rep. Michael C. Burgess, R-Texas, has introduced legislation (H.R. 1012) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to increase the dollar limitation on employer-provided group term life insurance that can be excluded from the gross income of the employee."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 13. It was referred to the House Ways and Means Committee.
