Rep. Brown Marks the 10-Year Anniversary of the Affordable Car Act

WASHINGTON, March 24 -- Rep. Anthony Brown, D-Maryland, issued the following statement on March 23 commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Affordable Care Act:
"Ten years ago today, the Affordable Care Act was passed into law covering over 20 million Americans and protecting over 133 million Americans with pre-existing conditions.
"This legislation was a huge step toward our goal of universal health care for all.
"The fight to protect our care is more important than ever before. No one should go bankrupt just because they got sick.
"I'll keep working toward quality, affordable health care and prescription drugs for all Americans."
