Rep. Black Introduces Bill to Meet Chronically Ill Medicare Enrollees Needs

WASHINGTON, April 8 -- Rep. Diane Black, R-Tenn., has introduced legislation (H.R. 1995) to amend title XVIII of the Social Security "to provide for national testing of a model of Medicare Advantage value-based insurance design to meet the needs of chronically ill Medicare Advantage enrollees."
The bill was introduced on April 6 and was co-sponsored by Reps. Earl Blumenauer, D-Ore., Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-Wash., and Debbie Dingell, D-Mich. It was jointly referred to the House Ways and Means and Energy and Commerce committees.
