Rep. Beyer Introduces Bill to Require Health Insurance Issuers to Maintain Price Comparison Tool

WASHINGTON, Nov. 16 -- Rep. Don S. Beyer, D-Va., has introduced legislation (H.R. 5121) to amend title XXVII of the Public Health Service Act and chapter 89 of title 5, U.S. Code, to require health insurance issuers to maintain a price comparison tool.
The bill was introduced on Nov. 15. It was jointly referred to the House Energy and Commerce and Oversight and Reform committees.
