Reinsurance Veteran to Advise Lockton Re Clients

PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockton Re, the reinsurance intermediary business of the world's largest privately owned insurance broker, Lockton, announced that Charles (Chip) LaLone has joined as managing director in the United States. LaLone will have responsibilities for Lockton Re's advisory and treaty placement capabilities and leadership responsibilities for enhancing client relationships.

LaLone is a highly regarded casualty treaty broking veteran. He is a recognized expert in the reinsurance of professional and financial lines and the development and placement of bespoke reinsurance programs for specialty lines carriers.

He joins most recently from Willis Re, where he was an executive vice president and led the professional and financial lines business segment. Prior to joining Willis Re in 2004 he was the D&O Practice Leader at Guy Carpenter. LaLone began his career with C.E. Heath, in London, in 1980.
