By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Insurance Weekly News -- QBE North America, an operating division of QBE Group, was recognized as 'Insurance Company of the Year' at the 2016 U.S. Captive Services Awards held during the annual Vermont Captive Insurance Association Conference (VCIA) held in Burlington, VT.
QBE won this prestigious award based on its versatility in serving the captive insurance industry, particularly in its specialist area of medical stop-loss. The organization was also commended on its dedicated captive underwriting team and customer care commitments focusing on risk management, claims adjudication, and reimbursement explanations.
"QBE is honored to receive this award, and show that our hard work and determination are paying off. As one of the largest underwriters of medical stop loss coverage in the United States, this award proves our dedication to Risk Managers and the medical stop loss market," said Philip Giles, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for QBE North America's Accident & Health business, who accepted the award for QBE.
