Personnel: Huntington Federal Savings Bank announces promotions

HUNTINGTON — Huntington Federal Savings Bank promoted two employees, effective July 1.

Andy Agee was promoted to vice president and investment officer. Angela Childers was promoted to vice president and loan servicing officer.

Agee is responsible for oversight of the bank's investment portfolio, ensuring the bank's investments are managed prudently in support of the institution's overall financial strength, liquidity and long-term strategic objectives.

Agee joined Huntington Federal in April 2013 as a loan officer and was promoted to assistant vice president in 2021.

"Andy has consistently demonstrated professionalism, integrity and strong financial expertise," said Huntington Federal President and CEO Dan Huron. "His commitment to Huntington Federal's customers as a lender and to the bank's long-term success as an Investment Officer have made him an invaluable member of our leadership team. We are pleased to recognize his contributions with this well-deserved promotion."

Agee earned a bachelor of science degree in business economics from High Point University in North Carolina and a master of business administration from Marshall University.

He serves on the board of trustees and as secretary of the Huntington Museum of Art.

Childers oversees the bank's loan servicing operations. She also serves as a member of Huntington Federal's Asset Review and Classification Committee and Disaster Recovery Department Team, helping support the bank's commitment to sound risk management and operational readiness.

Childers began her career at Huntington Federal 1988 as a teller. She has advanced through a series of leadership positions, including new accounts and IRA supervisor, assistant branch manager, branch manager, loan servicing officer, and assistant vice president and loan servicing officer, a position she has held since 2022.

"Angela's career is a remarkable example of dedication, professionalism and steady leadership," Huron said. "Her extensive knowledge of banking operations, commitment to exceptional service, and unwavering support of both our customers and fellow employees have made her an invaluable member of our team. This promotion is well deserved, and we congratulate her on this important milestone."
