Page Insurance Agency names new Chief Operating Officer

A true leader in the company, Jamie Eady was promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer of Page Insurance Agency on Sept. 1. "Jamie has transformed our entire agency into a welloiled machine," said President Matthew Maniscalco. "She has progressed our commercial department to new heights, provided structure to the agency's overall policy and procedures, and has continued to excel and inspire day in and day out." An employee of Page Agency since 2017, Jamie came to Page as a former co-worker of Maniscalco's during their years working together in the corporate world. "I reached out to an old trusted friend and co-worker and asked her to give Page Insurance Agency a chance," said Maniscalco, "and the rest was history!" Starting in commercial sales and then stepping into commercial leadership, Jamie managed and organized the commercial department like it had never been done before.

Then with the support of the rest of the team, Jamie took on one project at a time, pu ting policy and procedures in place for multiple different departments. "She has transformed the company," said Maniscalco, "and has raised it up to the next level. I see her as one of the future leaders of our community, and I have the utmost respect for her. She truly earned the promotion to Chief Operating Officer." In addition to Jamie's amazing accolades, Page Insurance Agency has two new outside sales agents that have really hit the ground running. Matt Brown, who was named Page's newest Commercial Lines Rep, started on Jan. 1 and has been excelling ever since. Brown is the treasurer of the DeLand Area Chamber of Commerce, a graduate of Leadership Volusia, and handles everything from workers' comp to cyber liability. Matthew Birnie started at Page Agency on Sept. 1 as the new Benefits Advisor. Birnie is a graduate of Florida State University and is licensed with his 2-15, specializing in group health. He sits on the board of Easterseals, and is a member of the Rotary Club of Downtown
