Pacesetter Claims Service partners with OnSeen and HOVER to Revolutionize the Claims Adjustment Process in the New COVID-19 Economy

PR Newswire

COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 15, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Pacesetter Claims Service, OnSeen, Inc. and HOVER announced today the launch of the LiveClaims Solution that will become the foundation of Pacesetter's new and streamlined field adjustment workflow. LiveClaims virtually connects all parties involved in the claim adjustment workflow in real-time through an affordable, easy-to-use, mobile-web platform. LiveClaims enhances the policyholder experience by providing a personalized portal for each policyholder where they can: (1) monitor the status and details of their claim, (2) view a detailed HOVER property data package, which is  auto-generated from pictures taken from the adjuster's phone, (3) track the adjuster's location and arrival time when they are en route for the scheduled adjustment appointment; (4) receive automatic claims status notifications throughout the adjustment process, and (5) participate and assist with their claims process by uploading photos, notes and related docs.

"Our claims adjustment process, prior to OnSeen and HOVER, involved several disconnected systems, did not effectively embrace the policyholder and was inefficient," said Bill Brassfield, CEO of Pacesetter. "LiveClaims allows us to virtually connect our field adjusters, desk adjusters, policyholders and insurance clients to create a better experience, minimize the need for face-to-face contact during COVID-19 distancing, increase operational efficiency and reduce the cost of our adjustment process."

Through an API and open architecture, LiveClaims enables Pacesetter to integrate the various processes and systems involved in the claims adjustment process and seamlessly connect all of the tools involved in the process. The LiveClaims Admin console: (1) auto-assigns claims to desk and field adjusters based on qualifications, availability and proximity, (2) provides a real-time view of the status of every claim and field adjuster throughout the adjustment process, (3) delivers a dashboard of strategic service, performance and financial KPIs. The LiveClaims Adjuster App provides: (1) notifications to the field adjuster regarding claims assignment and appointment reminders, (2) a schedule of upcoming appointments, (3) a robust property inspection report that dynamically and efficiently directs the adjuster through the claims data gathering process, and (4) the ability to update the claim adjustment status in real time.

"We are thrilled to be selected by Pacesetter to streamline their claims adjustment workflow and improve the policyholder experience by leveraging HOVER's and OnSeen's technologies," said Mike Lanese, CEO at OnSeen. "LiveClaims is the perfect platform and foundation to allow Pacesetter to virtually connect all of the involved parties and deliver a superior, less stressful experience for policyholders while maintaining appropriate distancing in these challenging times."

"The integration of HOVER's technology with OnSeen's mobile claims adjustment platform represents a revolutionary new solution for the P&C insurance industry to transform the previously manual and inefficient claims adjustment process," said Kevin Reilley, Executive VP at HOVER. "The integrated LiveClaims/HOVER solution increases the accuracy of claim estimates, lowers the cost of the adjustment process, increases claim processing throughput, and increases policyholder satisfaction."
