PA Chamber Insurance Expands Into Philadelphia Region With Hiring of Khary Byrd

HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania, Sept. 19 -- The Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry issued the following news release:

Pennsylvania Chamber Insurance (PCI) is increasing its presence in southeast Pennsylvania with the hiring of Khary Byrd to lead PCI's regional sales efforts.

"We are excited to welcome Khary Byrd to PCI and expand our growing Pennsylvania footprint," said PA Chamber Insurance Chief Operating Officer Gil Davis. "With last year's acquisition of Gar Thomas's book of business and Khary's hiring to represent PCI in southeast Pennsylvania, we are continuing to identify new opportunities to expand our first-rate benefits consulting and customer service to businesses and employees across Pennsylvania."

As a tenured sales director with nearly 25 years of experience, Byrd has worked for IT resellers and service providers and honed his reputation for going above and beyond both his and his client's goals. After working for AFLAC, Byrd built a successful independent franchise that brought in more than 500 policies in under four years and earned a 94 percent retention rate.

Byrd hails from the Philadelphia area and attended Penn State University. He resides in West Chester with his wife and their three sons.
