Orangeburg County plant fire extinguished; no injuries reported, no major disruptions expected at Trinity
The fire remains under investigation but it appears to be accidental,
"There's a little welding machine up there. It looks like that caught on fire and the fire ran up the wall," Hill said at the scene.
He said the call came in at
"The fire has been extinguished and no one was injured. The company does not anticipate any significant disruptions to operations at this time," said
"The cause of the fire is under investigation, and the company takes very seriously the safety of its employees at its facilities," Greiner said.
This is the second fire at the plant in just over a year.
