One80 Intermediaries (One80), a specialty insurance broker headquartered in Boston, today announced the acquisition of National Insurance Agency of Simpsonville, a Kentucky based insurance broker that provides life and occupational disability insurance to professional associations. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

For over 60 years, National Insurance Agency of Simpsonville (NIA) has provided unique life and disability insurance products to thousands of attorneys, certified public accountants, dentists and physicians throughout the state of Kentucky as well as Arkansas. NIA offers insurance solutions that are not available through the standard market, addressing disability income concerns, participation limits, underwriting restrictions, and post-term life insurance renewals.
