The annual competition, open to more than 9,000 representatives of the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, recognizes exemplary volunteer involvement and dedication to charitable organizations and philanthropic projects. <p></p> Twenty-four "Outstanding Volunteers," are recognized and honored for their achievements with a grant of $10,000 to each organization they represent. One "Most Exceptional Volunteer" is named and awarded a $25,000 grant for their designated non-profit. "Our Community Service Award program helps us achieve two goals.
