nuBridges Exchange MFT Solutions Earn Drummond Certified Seal for AS2

nuBridges Exchange Commerce Suite v3.5 and nuBridges Exchange i v3.2 Managed File Transfer Solutions Complete AS2-3Q10 Interoperability Certification

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- nuBridges, the secure eBusiness authority, announced today that nuBridges Exchange™ Commerce Suite v3.5 and nuBridges Exchange i™ v3.2 Managed File Transfer (MFT) software solutions for B2B integration have completed the AS2–3Q10 Interoperability certification and are now Drummond Certified®. This certification ensures that these nuBridges software applications transport EDI and other important business transactional information between trading partners securely using the AS2 (Applicability Statement 2) RFC standard over the Internet using HTTP.

The nuBridges solutions are two of 21 newly certified AS2 products from 14 software companies to complete the Drummond Certified AS2-3Q10 Interoperability test developed by Drummond Group, Inc. (DGI), the trusted interoperability test lab.

AS2 is one of the most widely recognized messaging standards for B2B e-commerce with thousands of implementations around the globe. Used by the retail, consumer products goods, hard-lines, insurance, financial services, petroleum and government industries, among others, AS2 is the IETF RFC (4180) specification standard by which applications communicate all forms of data, including EDI and XML over the Internet. Implementing AS2 with certified AS2 products enables users to connect, deliver and reply to data securely and reliably, saving money and adding flexibility and control on how the data is utilized or reported.

During the test, the participating products are required to exchange test messages with each other and to verify the validity of each transaction. The test messages cover the full scope of the AS2 standard, which includes digital signatures, encryption and receipts, as well as data compression.
