Nick Lukson Joins Western National Insurance Group

MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota, Feb. 13 -- Western National Insurance Group, a property and casualty insurance company, issued the following news release:

Western National today announced the hiring of Nick Lukson as Vice President and General Manager in Seattle, based in the company's Seattle, Wash. office. Nick will be taking over for Steve Richards, who is set to retire later this year. In this role, Nick will oversee the day to day underwriting operations of the office, including both underwriting and underwriting support with Commercial Lines Managers and the Commercial Lines Support Manager reporting to Nick.

Nick comes to Western National with over 20 years of property-and-casualty experience. Prior to joining Western National, Nick was the Underwriting and Marketing Manager for Griffin Underwriting Services. Before that, he held various management roles within Safeco Insurance, which was then Liberty Mutual Group. Nick earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Washington's Foster School of Business, in addition to having earned the CPCU, ARM, AIM, AAI, and AU designations.
