Acquisition to expand NFP’s property & casualty services in the Southern Midwest

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- NFP, a leading insurance broker and consultant that provides employee benefits, property & casualty (P&C), retirement and individual private client solutions, announced today it has acquired The Thomas Insurance Agency of Benton, Inc. The transaction closed effective February 1, 2017.

Based in Benton, AR, Thomas Insurance Agency is a P&C insurance broker that provides commercial and personal insurance. Principals of the firm James Thomas and Paul Childress will continue in their current roles and become directors within NFP’s P&C division.
