NFP Acquires Malpractice Insurance Agency

Acquisition strengthens medical malpractice resources

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- NFP, a leading insurance broker and consultant that provides employee benefits, property & casualty (P&C), retirement and individual private client solutions, has acquired Malpractice Insurance Agency, LLC (MIA). The transaction closed on Sept. 15, 2016.

Located in Laguna Beach, CA, MIA is an independent P&C broker specializing in providing medical malpractice insurance products to individual physicians, service groups and clinics across the country.
