The scholarship is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. To become eligible, applicants must complete a series of gamified modules designed to enhance students’ financial savvy as they transition from high school to post-secondary education. Powered by Zogo, the New York Life Financial Empowerment Scholarship game provides simple, module-based learning to help students build critical money management skills, and focuses on key topics such as budgeting basics, understanding credit, saving for the future and setting financial goals.
