New Hampshire Democratic Party: NHGOP – Ending ACA Can’t Come Soon Enough
Targeted News Service (Press Releases)
CONCORD, New Hampshire, July 16 -- The New Hampshire Democratic Party issued the following news release:
Former NH Governor and NHGOP Chairman John H. Sununu joined New Hampshire Republican Senate candidates Bill O'Brien, Donald Bolduc, and Corky Messner in cheering the end of the entire Affordable Care Act yesterday, calling the lawsuit that could strike down the law and protections for Granite Staters with pre-existing conditions a "kick in the pants."
NHDP Chair Ray Buckley released the following statement:
"These Republicans don't care about coverage for patients with pre-existing conditions, they don't care about substance use disorder treatment, and they don't care about Medicaid expansion. If they did, they would not be rooting for the end of the Affordable Care Act, which keeps all of these programs afloat. The real 'kick in the pants' will be when they lose in 2020 because of their callous efforts to rip away our health care."
Donald Bolduc has already said he would eliminate the Affordable Care Act, and his primary challengers Bill O'Brien and Corky Messner will be forced to defend their positions when they officially launch their campaigns.
